Ekco is a leading European managed cloud and cybersecurity provider, working with organisations across multiple sectors to strengthen resilience, manage risk, and modernise IT infrastructure.

Brief
Resonance was tasked with establishing Ekco as a recognised cloud and security leader in the UK market. The campaign needed to grow brand awareness, support demand generation, and build trust and credibility with buyers through differentiated messaging.

Execution
Through Q3, we delivered a consistent programme of press outreach, combining newsjacking, proactive pitching, press releases, and bylined articles. This positioned Ekco as a trusted authority on critical market-defining issues, including the Companies House digital ID rollout, ransomware strikes, and high-profile third-party breaches.

To strengthen awareness and support lead generation, we relaunched the Infrastructure Modernisation Survey, securing widespread media pick-up. At the same time, we built and maintained dialogue with Tier-1 and trade journalists, ensuring Ekco remained front of mind with its target audiences.

Results

  • 49 pieces of coverage across Tier-1 and trade outlets, including CRN, Forbes, InfoSecurity Magazine, and IT Pro.

  • Coverage reached an audience of 2,055,395, exceeding KPI targets by 104%.

  • Share of Voice (SOV) gains:

    • In the MSP/MSSP market, Ekco secured 82.6% SOV, dominating over competitors such as Littlefish (8.3%) and Air IT (4.6%).
    • In the cybersecurity market, Ekco grew from 4% SOV last year to 19.4% since April.
    • Achieved more than three times the coverage in five months than in the entire previous year (March 2024–25).
