Data Storytelling

Our award-winning campaigns have resulted in national coverage for our clients.

Resonance are experts in using data to tell a story. We work with brands, charities and government to analyse data, find new insights and create stories.

Case Study: Antibiotic Prescribing Research

Research

Resonance analysed 750 million rows of NHS prescribing data to create data-driven stories across four health-care issues: Obesity, Allergies, Antibiotics and Depression. This resulted in 134 clippings including national coverage for our client, Exasol and an award win for “PR Project of the Year” for Resonance in 2017.

“One word: Exceptional. This campaign has been a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without the team at Resonance. I doubt any other agency could have achieved this.”

Sean Jackson, Chief Marketing Officer, Exasol

Case Study: Solar Panel Research

Research

Resonance analysed eight years of government data for our client Energi Mine.

We found that solar photovoltaic (PV) installations dropped after a shift in government policy away from a rebate incentive scheme called the feed-in tariff (FiT) in 2016.

Our research found that in the two years since the government cut the FiT by more than 60 per cent, the number of new solar PV installations plummeted from over 26,000 a month in December 2015 to just 2,422 in January 2018.

That is despite the cost of installing a four kilowatt domestic solar PV system falling from about £14,000 in 2011 to as little as £4,000 in 2018.

Our research resulted in national coverage.
