CLIENT OVERVIEW

CybSafe is cloud-based software that reduces organisational risk by improving people's security decisions and behaviours.

CHALLENGE

CybSafe secured a Series B investment round of $28 million led by global venture capital firm Evolution Equity Partners, taking their total funding to $40 million. CybSafe wanted to leverage this milestone and showcase their success to the media, new prospects, and current clients.

EXECUTION

Resonance devised an integrated campaign between PR and Inbound to announce the investment round. We created a range of content to promote across different channels, raising awareness and building a buzz, as well as increasing demand generation, client engagement and retention for CybSafe.

Results

  • New unique content created:
    • Press release announcing the investment round
    • Personal LinkedIn article and video from CEO, Oz Alashe
    • Social posts for CybSafe’s Partners and Tribe
    • Promotional emails to four different segments of CybSafe’s internal database
  • Media activity resulted 13 pieces of coverage, including an article in TechCrunch (14.1 million UMV).
  • CybSafe’s post on LinkedIn resulted in 800 organic engagements, while the LinkedIn article from Oz Alashe generated over 500 organic engagements.
  • The announcement was featured on the front of the Nasdaq building in Times Square.
  • Media interest continued after the announcement, and six months later we secured a letter to the editor in City AM for Oz Alashe.
