We’re looking for a curious, confident, and media-savvy communicator to join our growing 360 Communications team in Manchester. This role is perfect for someone with 2–3 years of experience in PR or communications, a passion for media, and a sharp instinct for what makes a story land.
You’ll work across earned media and influencer channels, helping bring bold, insight-driven stories to life. Key Responsibilities:
Media Strategy & Execution
- Pitch stories that align with client strategy and spark journalist interest
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, analysts, and key industry influencers
- Draft press releases, media notes, and other key materials to support earned outreach
- Monitor media trends and identify proactive opportunities for clients to show up in the right conversations
Campaign Coordination & Delivery
- Support campaign delivery across earned channels as part of integrated PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned media) strategies
- Work with the wider 360 and storytelling teams to ensure consistency across platforms
- Coordinate media interviews, briefings, and thought leadership opportunities
- Track coverage and build reports that show how media efforts drive awareness, influence, and business value
Client & Team Collaboration
- Act as a point of contact on media-related activity for your accounts
- Join client meetings, present media results, and help shape future outreach plans
- Collaborate with content creators, strategists, and designers to support story development and execution
Skills & Qualifications:
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or media — ideally with B2B or tech clients
- Proven ability to pitch and land media coverage
- A strong understanding of the UK media landscape and how news cycles work
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A strategic mindset with the confidence to speak up, ask questions, and shape direction
Preferred:
- Experience working on integrated campaigns using the PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned media) model
- Familiarity with analyst relations and non-traditional media voices
- A basic understanding of how social and owned content supports earned media
- A genuine interest in technology, innovation, and business
Personal Attributes:
