Challenge

Winning coverage for such a niche subject in several regions was a real challenge. It depended on interest in cybersecurity compliance and also in email security and DNS records, which even fewer people know about.

Strategy

The campaign began with thought leadership for leading tech, security and channel titles. These are the titles IT decision-makers trust in the UK, US, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. As the topic gained traction, it grew into interviews and comment in larger publications.

That success has led to further research, which should bring more media interest when Google enforces the changes in April 2024.

Results

More than 20 pieces of national and tier-one industry coverage worldwide, and the number is still growing.

  • Our thought leadership outreach won slots with five leading tech, security and channel titles, including Computer Weekly, TechRadar Pro, Dark Reading and Help Net Security.
  • Further media work led to two pieces in Forbes, interviews with IT Brew and eChannel News, and features in Dark Reading, BetaNews and other titles.
  • The campaign runs through 2024 and has already produced more than 20 pieces of international and industry coverage. That has given EasyDMARC a much stronger voice on email authentication. It has also lifted brand awareness and helped to grow its partner network.
"Working with Resonance is a pleasure. Despite the technical nature of our product, their quick responses and industry savvy ensure successful collaboration, keeping us ready to seize news opportunities at any moment."
