Read case study →Most people looking for a B2B tech PR agency in the UK are looking for what we do. We call it a strategic communications consultancy. The difference matters.
Discuss your brief →Series B and beyond: from founder-led profile to a reputation investors, buyers and hires can rely on.
Technology →Selling to CIOs, CISOs and procurement, where analysts and the business press decide the shortlist.
Enterprise technology →Vendors that must be trusted before they are understood: category clarity, breach readiness, a Magic Quadrant story that holds.
Cybersecurity →Regulated launches, trust with institutions and consumers, and communications that satisfy the FCA as well as the press.
Fintech →Professional and financial services firms with long buying cycles, mature customers, and several decision-makers to persuade.
Professional and financial services →Funds that want to be heard by founders and LPs, and one standard across the companies they back.
Venture and portfolio →We have worked in B2B technology since 2011: more than 500 campaigns for over 100 technology brands, from scale-ups to NTT DATA. Cloud, data and AI, security, SaaS, fintech, and the professional and financial services firms that buy from them. We know the journalists, analysts and communities each of those markets turns on.
Three things set the work apart. We can explain a data platform to the FT and a security architecture to a developer title in the same week. We run analyst relations as a discipline, and wrote the guide to it. And we built our own platform, Agentcy, which measures media, social and AI visibility and powers the UK B2B Tech PR AI Visibility Index. We publish our own position in it, whatever it says.

A Series A to C that lands with investors, customers and talent, and keeps working after the tech press moves on.
No UK media relationships yet. We build the narrative, open the right doors and run the first 6 months as a launch.
A Magic Quadrant, Wave or MarketScape ahead. We run analyst relations as its own programme. Our guide explains how.
Preparedness first where we can. Calm, fast, senior counsel when we cannot.
The business-media profile and analyst understanding a listing needs, built 18 months out.
The market must understand a new category before it buys. Research, executive profile and bylines that make you the reference point.
How ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers describe you against competitors, and what changes it. Measured weekly.
One story, told the same way to customers, staff, partners and press, on a timetable that is not yours.
Every engagement runs on the same four-part model, whether it is one project or an always-on programme.
Design. We learn how the business is seen: by buyers, analysts, the press and, increasingly, AI systems. From that we build positioning, narrative and a plan tied to the decision you need to influence.
Build. Media relations with national, business and trade journalists. Analyst relations. Executive profiling. Original research. Content that earns authority.
Manage. Always-on counsel: live opportunities, social, issues and crisis readiness, and how AI assistants describe you.
Measure. Share of voice, message adoption, AI visibility and influenced demand, reported in the terms boards use.
The people who win the brief run the brief. Senior consultants stay on the account. We would rather decline work than staff it thinly. In the first 90 days you get a diagnosis, a narrative in the market and a measurement baseline.
Both are good ways to buy communications. An agency delivers a defined programme of activity, usually coverage, against a retainer. A good one does that very well. A consultancy starts with the decision you need to influence and works back to the reputation that will influence it. Coverage is one instrument among several.
We work the consultancy way. It shows in four places. Positioning before promotion. Senior counsel on the moments that matter: a round, a breach, an evaluation. Analyst relations run as a programme. Measurement in the terms boards use. A fifth is new: buyers now form shortlists inside AI assistants. We built Agentcy to see and change what those assistants say.
If your brief is a set volume of coverage on a set budget, an agency may serve you better. Several good ones are named below. If it is a reputation that has to hold in front of customers, investors, analysts and regulators, that is our work.
The UK market. Retained B2B technology PR runs from about £3,000 a month at the small end to £25,000 and more for senior, integrated programmes. Most specialist agencies quote £6,000 to £15,000 a month. Projects realistically start around £3,000 and grow with the deliverables. Seniority, analyst relations, the number of markets and the amount of positioning work move the number.
How we price. Agentcy, our own AI-visibility and media intelligence platform, gives us flexibility a pure services firm does not have. It can be used self-serve, and it underpins lower-cost options. Details are on the Agentcy website. Resonance's retained consultancy typically starts at £4,000 to £6,000 a month, depending on scope, KPIs and deliverables. Most work is retained, scoped to the brief and reviewed each quarter. If someone else would serve you better, we will say so.

Read case study →It depends on the brief. Archetype and Hotwire for global scale. Wildfire for creative growth campaigns. Spreckley and CCgroup for enterprise. ITPR for search-led PR. CommsCo for early stage. Resonance when the brief is reputation rather than coverage: positioning, analyst relations, board-level counsel and measurement.
Start with the decision you need to influence and who makes it. Ask each agency how it would move that audience. The answer tells you more than a coverage count. Check who will work on the account, ask for analyst relations experience, read their Clutch reviews, and ask how they measure.
Retained B2B technology PR in the UK runs from about £3,000 a month to £25,000 and more. Most specialists quote £6,000 to £15,000. For B2B technology, a specialist. The journalists, analysts and buying cycles are particular, and a generalist learns them at your expense. The exception is a brief that is mostly consumer or mainstream business profile. Resonance specialises in complex B2B, technology first.
A network gives you offices in many markets. An independent gives you the senior people who won the pitch staying on the work, and more flexibility on scope. Resonance is independent, works across Europe and North America with partners, and keeps senior consultants on the account.
An agency is organised around outputs, usually coverage. A consultancy is organised around a business outcome and uses coverage as one of several tools, alongside positioning, analyst relations, counsel and measurement. Many good firms do both. We call ourselves a consultancy because that is where our work starts.
Few can measure it, which is the first test. Resonance built Agentcy, which tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers describe a business and its competitors, and which sources shape those answers. We publish the UK B2B Tech PR AI Visibility Index from it every week, including our own position.
Both, with a threshold. We work best with technology companies from Series B onwards, with enterprise software and cloud businesses, and with complex B2B firms in professional and financial services. For an early-stage company on a lean budget we will usually say so and point you to an agency that suits.
Tell us the decision you need to influence and who makes it. We will say honestly whether we are the right consultancy for it, and who is if not.
