Elevating Pyramid Analytics Through Strategic PR for Series E Fundraise.

Pyramid Analytics is a leading decision intelligence platform that delivers insights for anyone to make faster, more intelligent decisions. The Pyramid Decision Intelligence Platform combines data preparation, business analytics, and data science in a single environment with AI guidance. Incorporated in Amsterdam, Pyramid has regional headquarters in London, New York City, and Tel-Aviv. Their investors include H.I.G. Growth Partners, Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), Sequoia Capital, and Viola Growth. 

Challenge

Pyramid Analytics operates in a crowded market, dominated by the goliaths. It’s an innovative addition to the marketplace, loved by its clients. Near to the beginning of our relationship with Pyramid Analytics we announced its oversubscribed Series E fundraise 

We used this $120 million Series E funding round effectively to significantly elevate its market presence. The goal was to enhance brand awareness, establish the founders as thought leaders, and secure high-impact media coverage to reach a global audience. 

Strategy

The PR strategy for the Series E fundraise focused on:

  • Comprehensive Media Relations Plan: We developed a strategic media relations plan, ensuring targeted outreach to key publications. 
  • Investor and Analyst Engagement: We engaged with key media and analysts under NDA before the announcement, ensuring they had all necessary information and context. 
  • Exclusive Kick-Start with TechCrunch: We initiated the announcement with an exclusive feature on TechCrunch to create significant initial interest. 
  • Bigger Picture Storytelling: We integrated the Series E announcement into broader market storytelling, emphasising the key theme of Decision Intelligence and Pyramid's vision. Multiple voices from investors, analysts, and founders were brought in to lend credibility and provide multiple angles. 
  • Newsjacking and Thought Leadership: We used newsjacking techniques to maintain visibility and positioned Pyramid’s leadership as thought leaders. 
  • Celebrations: We also helped Pyramid Analytics plan a major launch party at Tower Bridge. Personalised invitations were sent to selected journalists and analysts for the reception fostering deeper engagement. 
  • Post-Announcement Activities: Continued media and analyst engagement to secure additional coverage and maintain momentum. 

Results

The PR campaign for Pyramid Analytics' Series E fundraise achieved substantial success, securing extensive media coverage and significantly elevating the company’s profile:

69 pieces of coverage across various media outlets.
